Wortley Hall is a beautiful stately home that Wikipedia says, has its origins in the late 16th century. Located just outside Sheffield in the village of Wortley it makes for a lovely wedding venue.
We arrived early to get set up and found that we had a stage. In some ways this is great because the band has it’s own space to spread out in. However the downside is being elevated can disconnect you from the audience. This can make it harder to engage the crowd and get them dancing.
Maria and Jason’s first dance was “Still into you” by Paramore, which saw me on Guitar. This went down well. Our concerns about the stage were put to rest as this was not a shy audience. They were on their feet from the first note and some of them looked quite grateful to have a the break from the dancing at the interval. We went back on a 9:45 opening with Take Me Out which always goes down well. We were all done by 10:50 finishing with Seven Nation Army.
These guys were amazing. Communication was great, they sounded amazing and they were loads of fun for our wedding. Everyone was up dancing and I’ve had so many positive comments about them! Recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
