Greystones Primary School asked parents for fundraising ideas so I suggested that TOAST play a gig in the school hall. Tickets were £5 and included a drink.
The bar was well stocked with everything but ice and mixers. It being a warm night and dancing being thirsty work, this led to some over indulgence. I have since been regaled with tales from the ladies loos, of gin soaked mummies, crying on miniature toilets.
Anyone who has small children will know that the opportunities to cut loose are few and far between and we like to think this little charity event provided and opportunity to do just that.
We raised over £900 for Greystones Primary School from bar sales alone. This will go towards developing educational facilities for the children and liver cirrhosis for their parents.
