We played and Ellie and Lizzie’s wedding in May at Barlow Woodseats Hall. Access to the hall is up a long, deeply potholed drive and I’d stopped halfway along as I wasn’t entirely sure I was in the right place. Ben pulling up along side me put my fears to rest and we proceeded up to venue.
The grounds of Barlow Woodseats Hall are stunning and the weather had been kind too. We announced our arrival to the event managers, said our hellos to the brides and began setting up.
The first dance was “this will be (an everlasting love)” by Natalie Cole. Guests soon joined the happy couple on the dance floor.
With the dance floor full we launched straight into the first set and kept everyone grooving until we finished with Dakota. We were very well looked after with pizza and beer during the interval and were back on for 10pm with the second set. Lovely people, a great wedding.
