Grenoside Beer Festival 2024
It was a familiar story as we played our 10th? Grenoside Beer Festival. Couldn’t find a sound guy for it this time so Ben and I resolved to do it ourselves. This went pretty well initially, not least because I’d bought an acoustic guitar sound hole plug. This solves the issues that this particular instrument always has with feedback. One headache avoided.
Gareth Arnold was first up playing a number of upbeat acoustic numbers. His son Dylan joined him on stage playing violin and keyboards on a couple of track (not at the same time I hasten to add).
Next up we had the wonderful Stace Rose with her guitarist Tom
The Grenoside Beer Festival was then treated to the vocal talents of Georgie Mills. Georgie has a truly outstanding voice. Don’t take my word for it, have a listen.

By this time we were a good hour behind schedule which unfortunately meant we could only do a handful of songs from our two 50 minute sets due to the curfew. We’ll give ourselves more time between acts next year.
