The success of Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour Party at the last election has seen an injection of interest and enthusiasm in the Labour movement. The Sheffield Hallam Constituency has a Labour MP for the first time and this success was in large part down to the hard work and dedication of local Labour Party volunteers, canvassing in all weathers, (ask them about that night in the rain), right up to election day.

Toast at West Street Live April 2017

Toast at West Street Live

Unlike the Conservatives, the Labour party don’t have billionaire donors and media moguls queuing up to lavish pots of cash and column inches on them during election campaigns. So it’s up to you and me to make sure Labour can compete on an equal footing in both general and local elections. It may seem daunting, but the Labour Party have tools at their disposal that money can’t buy. Passion, commitment and determination. Being good, feels good and we can harness the energy that only genuine enthusiasm for a cause generates. Let’s use it to fight for social justice, equality and our public services.

Putting the “Fun” in Fundraising

Help us to generate funds for future campaigns and projects by joining us for a night of music and dancing on the 25th of November 2017 at St Andrew’s Hall. Sheffield band Toast will be playing a range of guitar hits from the 90s and 00s and this will be followed by a disco.
