We were invited to provide the entertainment for the celebration of Mattresses Online 20th birthday at the New York Stadium in Rotherham.
Road closures hampered our initial to access the car park and upon arrival the place seem deserted. After a bit of wondering around I located some activity and an entrance. Unfortunately the closest I could park was about 100 metres from the door. Then there was a small lift to the first floor to negotiate. We managed to shuttle the gear to the first floor and get set up while the guests found drinks and the food was laid out.
Our host kindly supplied us with beer and food while we were waiting to start the first set. This always puts the band in a good mood and helps to lubricate artistic endeavours. Nothing much else to report aside from much dancing and singing.
